Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Macro Alien (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Macro Alien is operated by Moonlight Be The Light, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

Macro Alien is an AI-powered nutrition tracking app that helps athletes track macronutrients, log food via search, photo scanning, or barcode, and receive AI-generated coaching suggestions.

• Plans: $4.99/month or $29.99/year
• Free trial: 7-day free trial with full access. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds.
• Price changes: We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers retain their current price until their next renewal after the change.

Macro Alien's AI features are not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

AI-generated macro estimates, coaching suggestions, and food identification are approximations. They should not replace professional guidance from a registered dietitian, nutritionist, or physician.

Photo-based macro estimates may be inaccurate. Always verify critical nutritional information from packaging or professional sources, especially if you have food allergies, medical conditions, or specific dietary requirements.

By using the AI features, you acknowledge that the results are estimates and you assume responsibility for your dietary decisions.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One account per person. Do not share account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Abuse the AI system (e.g., using it for purposes unrelated to nutrition tracking)
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials

All content, design, code, and branding of Macro Alien are owned by Moonlight Be The Light, LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Your food logs, recipes, and personal data remain yours. We claim no ownership over user-generated content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity. We will attempt to provide notice before termination when practical.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@moonlightbethelight.com.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moonlight Be The Light, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moonlight Be The Light, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
